Week 7 scores:

Treachery Division

Skullduggery 2  Privateers 0

For the 2nd week in a row, Skullduggery comes out on the winning end of a 2-0 score, and they did it missing 3 of their defensive players.  Taylan Schoen played a rugged game on D and also scored the ultimate game-winner on a sneaky good wrist shot.  Hugh MacDermid added an insurance goal late in the 2nd to seal it.  Kyle Buser made big saves when his team needed them, and gets his second shutout in as many weeks.

Pirates 3  Rebels 4

The Rebels hadn't won since Week 1 but got back on the winning track Tuesday in a close game with the first-place Pirates.  Wyatt Bergeron paced the winners with the first 2 goals for their team and Greg Robertson and Richard Kramer each tallied 2 assists.  Goalie Kalen Straatmeyer picked up the victory in a subbing role.  Gabby Henke, John Connor and Jack Connor all scored for the Pirates.

Skill Division

Marauders 3 vs  Vandals 3

The Vandals remain without a loss on the season, but they've tied the last 2 games, so the competition continues to creep closer.  This was a close back-and-forth game, and Marauders goalie Gavin Peery made some big saves to keep it tight.  Ryker Noden factored an all 3 Vandals goals (1G/2A) and Colby Kray tallied 2 goals for the Marauders.

Mavericks 7 vs  Outlaws 8

This was a wild one!  The Outlaws were up 6-2 at the break and it looked like the rout was on, but they seemed to lose steam in the second half, which was the opportunity the Mavericks needed.  Team Dahlberg scored with 1:15 left to make it a one-goal game, but ultimately still fell short.  Tevin Dahlberg, Taylor Dahlberg and Aden Cooley all lit the lamp twice for the Mavericks.  Trenton Impens (3G/1A), Natalie Essman (1G/3A) and Mason Straatmeyer (2G/1A) all had strong performances for the Outlaws, who improved to 3-4 on the season.
